Soon all these golden mulberry tree leaves will fall and then enrich our compost pile.

Quiet beauty
The little details of daily life always catch my eye - like this 'arrangement' on our kitchen window sill. Love the colors!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
I'm very grateful for my wonderful husband and my great family! My children are very important to me, I 'm so happy they are in my life.

A flowery vase for your blossoms
In this post http://adventuresinclay.blogspot.com/2011/10/lovely-late-afternoon-sun.html you can see the freshly thrown vases. Here is the finished one! I altered the rim and carved the flower design freehand as the clay was drying.
A hand-formed flower is attached at the deepest opening.
Inside is a lovely yellow glaze that keeps the vase waterproof.
Fun days in San Francisco
On our walk along the marina this boat caught my eye, looks like the wind is blowing it about.
This building downtown reminds me of geometric patterns used in the 60's.
At the entrance to Buena Vista Park - just landed and fluffy looking. I assume it's some sort of hawk, haven't looked it up yet.
The view from the top towards Golden Gate bridge and the North Bay. It was a beautiful day!
I always look up, it's a wonder I don't trip more often ... I like the upward movement of this Art Deco building top.
