A midnight blue yarn bowl

This yarn bowl is hand thrown of red stoneware clay on a potter's wheel. I carved the flower design and the yarn opening freehand as the clay was drying. The semi-matte midnight blue glaze has purplish hues and many small deeper blue spots. It has a nice satiny feel to it.

Wonderful bowl to keep your ball of yarn untangled and rolling smoothly as you work on your knitting or crocheting project! Just thread it through the hook or, if you keep your project always at home, through the small hole.
