Happy July!

First Saturday Open Studio today, 10-4 pm, 225 Foresthill Avenue, Auburn - fun to finally work with the doors open!

Summer is here, our strawberry guava is blooming! I've never had one, hope they are yummy.

That's our upper vegetable/berry/flower garden; growing because it's warm!

Bush beans,  Zephyr straight-neck squash, and Gold Rush summer squash - and a huge volunteer sunflower.

I like the sunflower peeking through the clematis arch - the lonely guardian of the berry patch.

Maybe we'll get some blueberries this year in the blue pot.

Ready for the next weeding expedition, this is a great tool! We can pretty easily uproot the occasional Bermuda grass  with it.

That mammoth sunflower is vying for the highest spot in the garden!

Love the lush wild look in the back.

This pretty metal fish from Argentina swims across our patio wall.
